I've always been someone who is fascinated by patterns and storytelling. My initial passion for studying these intersections led me to study mythology and folklore in college. Eventually, I discovered that this love extended into studying data in a similar fashion. Looking at numerical and statistical analyses were just as exciting. I take pride in always learning and evolving, whether independently via internet resources, enrolling in an in-person fast-paced Data Analytics and Data Visualization bootcamp, or graduating with a Master’s degree in Communication, Culture and Technology from Georgetown University.I take pride in communicating effectively with both business users and technical teams. I believe that being able to contribute to all steps of analysis is important: from scrubbing data directly with Python or SQL to building interactive visualizations and dashboards in Business Objects, Power BI, and Tableau to presenting key insights to executives. I'm a huge proponent for the right tool for the right job: sometimes, a business unit needs a real-time updating dashboard. In other situations, the right tool might be a report with extended tables tracking year over year growth. I always advocate for utilizing the method that will reinforce the intended narrative.
