As a creative, innovative people-focused leader, I have spent most of my career in nonprofit communications and project development. I am a storyteller at heart. Through years of crafting narratives to advance the mission of organizations, I have developed exceptional writing and editing skills. I also love to help others tell their stories by asking the right questions. I have interviewed many interesting people for articles, for panel discussions, and for my monthly podcast/radio show. I have developed courses, workshops, campaigns, and events to share organizations’ mission and vision. Teaching and sharing my experience with others is a passion of mine.Throughout my career, I have sought to build a coalition of diverse teammates, supporters, and advisors. At the end of the day, my work is always designed to help others and to make my little part of the world a better place. In my personal life, I love to research and learn new things, which inevitably leads to me to explore fiction, historical non-fiction, sociology, psychology, spirituality, and theology through a variety of platforms and resources. In addition to feeding my left brain, my creative spirit loves to come out and play through various home improvement projects.
