Support the health and wellbeing of children 0 - 5 and their families in Mecklenburg County by guiding and managing investment of $14 million dollars of public funding annually, focused in 4 areas -early care and education, health, family support and early literacy. Oversee grantmaking process, partnerships, and evaluation process, in compliance with the North Carolina Partnership for Children and the SSMC Board of Directors. Also oversee Dolly Parton Imagination Library and Guiding Parents to Services, two in house programs.

Led strategic and operational performance. Grew and formalized organizational/committee structure, created development and marketing plans, advised Board of Directors to set budget, goals and objectives. Designed a robust array of workshops to support mission, including new program for teachers and students; provided outreach and education on mindfulness to public, including creation of two, annual community events, Paths to Peace and Catalyst. Built relationships with a wide variety of schools, foundations and businesses. Boosted organizational publicity through local media relationships. Evaluated programs and organizational effectiveness.

Facilitated staff development for clients by creating custom training programs, workbooks and other learning. Created online and epub content. Conducted SWOT and other surveys/analyses of organization clients, facilitated strategic planning workshops. In conjunction with Managing Partner, developed and implemented strategic plan and goals for business; developed and implemented marketing plan to support goals. Coordinated operations, improved technology use and social media to increase outreach and marketing capabilities, negotiated contracts with customers and vendors.

Provided administrative, fiscal and program management, directed daily operations for organization beginning high growth period. Worked with Board to set budget, goals and diversify revenue streams. Represented organization within community. Created marketing materials, including email campaigns. Developed and implemented programming events and educational seminars, including metrics to measure success.
