I hold a Master of Science degree in Information Systems and Operations Analysis. I'm certified as a Professional Project Manager, and I can code in Python, C++, Javascript and COBOL. 1 November 2011 I became Director and NASA Principal Investigator for Teachers in Space: www.teachers-in-space.com. We give teachers real space experiences to inspire their students to pursue STEM education and careers. We incorporated 2014 and are 501(c)3. We've flown successful student experiments on high altitude balloons, a stratospheric glider, Blue Origin's New Shepard suborbital rocket, and twice with Orbital ATK to the International Space Station. I am a regular speaker at national conferences including Dawn of Private Space Science, World Science Festival, ISDC etc. I worked in Information Technology at Morgan Stanley in New York and London from 1995-2006, managing the global Project Office, then as Internal Communications manager for the European Monetary Union and Year 2000 Conversion projects. In 2000 I became Product Manager for a global electronic content system serving 1700 users and was promoted to Vice President of Client Technology. In 1997 with colleagues from other financial firms I cofounded the New York City Software Process Improvement Network "CitySPIN" which is still operating and meeting monthly in 2018.I'm a competitive CrossFit athlete, currently ranked 17th in New York State among women my age.
