Connect-A-Kid is a nationwide, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that provides a team based mentoring program for adopted children, and is devoted to connecting the adoption community through mentorship, embracing cultural diversity, and adoption.Responsibilities include:*Liaison between Connect-A-Kid staff, mentors, and families*Schedule individual calls with parents, mentors, and team leaders*Mentor and Parent training and support*Maintain Facebook team pages - update and monitor for questions*Schedule bi-monthly calls for all team leaders to discuss updates, team announcements, and leadership opportunities*Report and manage recurring payment system*Quarterly mentor status calls to create an open forum to share updates, announcements, mentor education, etc.*Create an open forum with team families*Responsible for ensuring annual background check renewals are conducted for each team*Provide programming content for any sponsorship events*Coordinate and lead a monthly Programming meeting between myself, the Director of Mentor Recruiting, and Regional Family Outreach
