About Elizabeth Kolb
My name is Elizabeth Kolb, and I am currently seeking a full-time position in political campaigning, with an advocacy or party organization, or a government office. Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in political science at Kutztown University, I have continued to develop my leadership and advocacy skills both in the classroom and in my larger campus community. Heavily involved on Student Government Board, as well as working as a fellow for the Campus Votes Project and Andrew Goodman Foundation, I have always been passionate about engaging others and myself in the political process.I am a dedicated young professional who prides herself on the ability to communicate effectively, develop leadership skills, and manage time and deadlines efficiently. I have also gained experience in political and legislative research in prior internships, such as researching legislation to write a policy proposal to my state lawmaker. On campus, I have also organized voter registration and civic education efforts on campus, where I have accrued experience of managing large-scale efforts, including local advocacy before the township, organizing voter events, and being a champion for political issues that I care about.I believe that all of this has set me up to successfully contribute to wherever I may be after college; on the campaign trail, in city hall, on the Hill, or in a nonprofit organization. I hope to apply my passion and dedication to political engagement, expanding my firsthand exposure in the inner workings of government and politics.
