Designed and built features for Square Sellers to better serve their custom needs. As part of the Ecommerce team, we were able to meet sellers where they were, whether they needed to start selling online at the start of the pandemic, or provide all their in-person needs at craft fairs.

(Acquired by Square June 2018)By building a tool for anybody to build a website at the click of a button was empowering. I was the first design engineer at the company, focusing on design systems and implementation. With my eye for design and front-end abilities, I was able to be part of a team that built a robust system for our product.

I had the opportunity to work with a small and mighty team designing products for mobile and desktop. I designed and built the front-end of landing pages and product onboarding pages. I was able to optimize the page load times, image sizes, and ensured top notch file structures.

• By grasping the look and from a novel, promotional pieces & ads were then designed to convey the emotion of the novel.• Designed marketing campaigns for the film-adapted novel The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets Nest. Included a three-dimensional bookshelf for bookstores and The New York Times ads. • Worked with publishers to brainstorm how to bring books to life.• Recreated design pieces for print publications, magazines and newspapers.

• Design for print publications such as New York Times Book Review and The New Yorker• Build online content and iPad ads for authors such as John Grisham and Bill Clinton

• Worked with the art director to bring a relationship to type, color and photos in respect to magazine layouts.• Tested and used different printing techniques for sales pieces, such as foil stamping and letterpress printing.• Designed a style guide to have a consistent look across the T+L groups.

• Designed and edited user guides for Apple software around the world.• Package design for iWork + iLife.• Worked with teams to better utilize the workflow for such a large project.

• On the Apple Global Training Team, an interface was created to learn about theApple products. Designed the user-experience , which included icons, tabs &rotating banners.• Training material and graphics were created to supplement the required courses.• Designs were shown around the world to different Apple Global Training Teams.

• Designed posters for upcoming events and brochures for their clothing line.• Updated their website designs.

• Printed the Mustang Daily for Cal Poly on the Goss Community 4-Unit Web Offest Press. • Punched plates, filled ink, and color managed.

• Demonstrated leadership skills to children and taught them how to swim. • Trained in CPR, First Aid, A.E.D., and lifeguarding. • Worked during the summer during college.
