Published debut picture book as author and illustrator, Millie's Night Owls in 2023.

This role made use of my background in the arts, and my prior experience working in customer service. I learned how to sell our product and how to convert customers into members. I also gained experience with customer database management, development, and large-scale event planning.

This work culminated in a master’s degree in the arts. I financed this degree by working as a Teaching Assistant at the university. I also helped update the department graduate student newsletter, Scope.

I taught elementary, middle and high school art classes. I also remained active as a professional artist during this time.

My job responsibilities included customer interaction, counter food sales, and maintenance of projection equipment. I worked this job while simultaneously completing my undergraduate degree at Viterbo University in La Crosse.
