Fashion Design And Production Assistant
Current- Collaborate with internal teams and factories to develop and produce RTW collections- Manage on-time sample shipments and shipping deadlines for both sample and bulk production- Create and update detailed tech packs for women’s RTW, knits, lounge, and soft accessories- Analyze designs, determine resources, and set project deadlines- Produce accurate technical drawings and proto sheets, implementing design changes when necessary- Evaluate styles during fittings, taking detailed notes and photos, and meeting with factories to discuss fit notes- Oversee review and approval process for strike-offs/lab dips/samples- Develop print & embellishment designs and create Pantone printing guidelines- Establish quality control standards with new vendors and uphold Mestiza brand integrity through fit continuity and construction standards- Evaluate prototypes and inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
