So the challenge for Cushman & Wakefield is to ensure longevity by moving from agent, to adviser. This, all in the context of a transformational merger that saw us triple in size to 43,000 and catapult to one of the top three global realtors. As Head of Marketing for the UK and then enlarged London business, my remit was to plan and execute marketing strategies and differentiate the business through creative innovative solutions - working closely with communications, CRM, bid support, events and digital marketing.

A staggering 70% of all diagnoses involve some form of pathology investigation, our laboratories carried out all kinds of testing, from earlier diagnosis of HIV and Alzheimer’s, to quicker results for clinicians on A&E wards. This role was an exciting proposition for me, joining at a pivotal point for Viapath and working in an entirely new field - I was initially recruited as Digital Marketing Manager, and quickly promoted as my role expanded to encompass all external marketing. I was not only responsible for driving the online marketing strategy, overseeing tactical implementation and delivering a web capability and functionality that fully supports the overall business objectives - but also brand guardianship, developing the marketing strategy, promoting products and services across all channels and delivering maximum value on budget.
