Position has been moved under the newly created state agency. Currently, the State Lead for statewide Central Intake and Referral System for Ohio’s Early Childhood Home Visiting programs. I monitor, audit, and provide technical assistance to state and federally funded local implementing Home Visiting programs in the Northeast region. I have assisted in multiple updates to O.R.C. Certain tasks include reviewing applications, applying special conditions, and on-going monitoring. I support in the facilitation of Early Childhood Home Visiting Consortium meetings that involves the Governor’s office, state legislators, representatives and other state agencies. I uphold and aid programs in following O.A.C. rule, federal requirements, and model fidelity requirement.

I work under the PREP (Personal Responsibility Education Program) Grant funded by the Ohio Department of Health, the Department of Job and Family Services, and the Department of Youth Services. I serve 13 counties in Southwest Ohio. The program is taught with evidence based curriculum and used as a train the trainer model. I work with Juvenile Justice and Foster care agencies educating youth ages 14-19.-Cover topics such as abstinence, birth control, healthy relationships, refusal skills and delay tactic, sexual transmitted diseases, financial literacy, and career building skills.Outside of the classrooms I hold the responsibility of reorganize and initiating coalition support and building on a communicable relationship. This includes creating agendas and performing quarterly meetings to keep our coalition informed and receive any feedback, I'm in charge of creating and distributing quarterly newsletter, a long with any other pertinent information or articles to our distribution list. I attend many community meetings and forums to build relationships and be prevalent within our communities. Meetings could include rotatory, Family and Children First Council, Human Trafficking Coalitions, and Community Leadership council meetings. I also provide support for all other aspects of educational programs when necessary. This could be performing an educational lesson in the classroom or tabling at health fairs.

I completed the necessary training to be a certified GAL. I managed a full case load where I advocated and investigated for abused, neglected, and dependent cases within Juvenile Court. It was my responsibility to ensured that my clients were provided a quality standard of life. I acted as Interim-Director during a transitional period; as I was the only full-time employee. I managed all office operation, handled sensitive documents, delegated cases, and oversaw volunteers to ensure all cases were being properly monitored. I served as a CASA representative within the courtroom. I supported volunteers through visits, meetings, court reporting, and testimony; along with participating in CASA 2 CASA support meetings. I had networking relationships with various community social service agencies.
