As Chief Information Officer, I develop and maintain the technology strategy for the Foundation. This includes data security oversight, risk management, compliance, data protection, incidence response and management, vendor management, budget and resource allocation, and the technology infrastructure. I also oversee prospect research and management, data integrity, database management, website maintenance, event and membership data management, dashboard and reporting design and execution, report writing, hardware and software support, and data reporting services.Recent projects have included the implementation of software in support of grants management, donor management, fundraising, event management, accounting, and prospect research and management.

As Executive Director of Advancement Services, I oversaw a department responsible for prospect research and management, data integrity, database management, website design and maintenance, event and membership data management, dashboard and reporting design and execution, report writing, hardware and software support, gift processing, and data reporting services, all in support of Institutional Advancement while implementing sustainable policies and procedures as we planned the official launch of the University's comprehensive campaign.

As Director of Prospect Research and Management (a position new to the University in August 2017) I led a team that met the immediate research needs of University and advancement leadership and an ever-growing team of development officers while continuing to build a Prospect Research and Management Department. Prospect Research and Management also supported development officers and staff with onboarding, database training, and general systems and use training sessions.

As Interim Executive Director of Advancement Services, I oversaw a department responsible for prospect research and management, data integrity, database management, website design and maintenance, event and membership data management, dashboard and reporting design and execution, report writing, hardware and software support, gift processing, and data reporting services, all in support of Institutional Advancement and in preparation for its first in more than 20 years fundraising campaign.

As Assistant Director of the Prospect Research Department, I continued to fulfill my role as Prospect Research Analyst along with my additional duties as Assistant Director.In my role as Assistant Director, I oversaw a staff of permanent and student employees. Additionally, I wrote training materials for, and conducted training sessions with, foundation and department staff and university development officers. The training materials and training sessions covered prospect research, prospect management, CRM use and best practices, database reporting tools, and other topics. I also developed the Digitization Initiative for the department's library.

At the University of South Florida Foundation I worked with large data sets and used strategic data mining techniques to proactively identify local and national sources of major-gift private support for University fundraising initiatives. I analyzed and assessed information from local, state, and national public sources and from subscription databases such as LexisNexis, NOZA charitable donations, BamSEC (SEC filings), and WealthEngine. I wrote a variety of research reports, including reactive and proactive prospect research profiles. I also conducted quarterly portfolio analyses of development officers’ prospect portfolios and I reviewed development officer reporting metrics. I identified prospects for development officers assigned to the University’s School of Architecture & Community Design; Graphicstudio; College of The Arts (CoTA); Libraries; College of Business; Department of Athletics; and Corporation and Foundation Relations. I also assisted development officers in portfolio management and strategy development.

Worked with university faculty, outside agencies, and community members; managed department personnel and volunteers; managed external grant-funded programs and projects in partnership with internal and external partners and donors; planned, promoted, and publicized events and symposiums; managed large-scale projects; managed day-to-day operations of Special & Digital Collections and Oral History departments; implemented and managed content management systems; implemented and managed Special Collections web presence; identified materials for preservation and insured the integrity of the materials during the preservation process; created digital archives. Provided library services to university faculty and students and outreach services to members of the greater Tampa Bay community.

Managed day-to-day operations of the Oral History Program; worked one-on-one with Holocaust survivors and concentration camp liberators while overseeing the development of the Holocaust Survivors Oral History Project; managed grant funded projects; and managed department personnel and volunteers.

Assisted in the creation of prospect research reports and individual research profiles; maintained data integrity and accuracy of individual, corporate, and foundation digital records; organized and managed the foundation’s research office records room and library.
