• Provide assistance on current local and state legislative efforts as they relate to affordable housing development• Assist in the identification and evaluation of the feasibility of new construction, acquisition, or portfolio restructuring projects• Create and maintain project proformas and projections• Research, prepare, and analyze development and operating budgets • Make necessary applications to local, state, and federal institutions for grants and/or financing• Manage real estate and finance transactions, including property acquisitions, construction and permanent loan closing, and tax credit syndications

• Lead 6th Cycle Housing Element technical assistance and community engagement efforts within Monterey, Santa Cruz & San Benito County jurisdictions• Organize and lead stakeholder meetings in regards to the 6th Cycle Housing Element• Provide technical support to MBEP member cities and other advocacy groups• Advocate for MBEP-supported housing projects with regional leaders, interacting frequently with key city and county housing officials, nonprofit and private developers, electeds, etc. • Organize and support housing related community outreach events throughout the region (Housing 101 Workshops, Cafecitos, Networking Mixers, Housing Week, etc.)• Represent MBEP endorsements at local government meetings including Planning Commissions, City Council, and/or Board of Supervisors Meetings

• Assist in the design and project approval process in developing, acquiring, and preserving affordable homes for low- and moderate-income children, transitional aged youth, families and seniors in the Tenderloin, and throughout San Francisco• Prepare/collect due diligence items from investors, lenders, and other funders for multiple developments• Work with development team to respond to multiple Notices of Funding Availability (NOFA)• Calculate and prepare financial proformas, financing applications, and loan closing documents

• Coordinated weekly meetings with 10-15 prospective UC Berkeley transfer students in which their personal statements, resumes, and scholarship / research applications were reviewed and edited• Created and facilitated various workshops focused on providing academic support to transfer students• Facilitated and co-led weekly Experience Berkeley transfer course

• Tutored high school seniors in college preparatory classes and assisted them with their college applications• Coordinated college visits for first-generation high school students• Regularly conducted bilingual (Spanish) workshops with parents to teach them about the college admissions and scholarship application process

• Organized and executed fundraising events, which accommodated an average attendance of 200 people, including elected politicians, college professors, and CEO’s of an array of companies• Updated institution’s donor database software to improve communication and marketing tactics and revamp fundraising efforts • Served as a liaison between the Institutional Effectiveness Board and Student Success Board in order to facilitate collaborative team efforts in events
