I thrive on opportunities to present my clients’ positions in court, whether to a judge or jury. I love legal research (former librarian here!), writing, court rules, and combining all of those to create effective strategies. I also love winning. I spent two years clerking in federal district court and am excited to have returned to private practice and be putting what I learned to work.I focus on patent litigation, but my experience includes contract disputes (intellectual property-related and otherwise), business tort claims, trademark and trade dress litigation, and Tucker Act suits against the federal government. I have practiced in federal district courts around the country, as well as in state courts, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, the United States Court of Federal Claims and the Federal Circuit.

I conducted research (legal and other), taught attorneys and staff research methods and the specifics of various tools, managed acquisitions, advised and often made independent decisions on purchasing, managed the library's collection across a variety of formats, and worked on knowledge management initiatives.

As the first volunteer for the library in years, I dealt with a backlog of shelving, filing, and cataloging. Once I had completed a major clean up, shelf reading, and shifting, I settled in to regularly cataloging new materials.

-Maintain newspaper clipping files.-Fulfill daily requests for articles.-Provide patron assistance at circulation desk.-Perform special projects as needed, including research, editing of MARC records, and editing of websites.

-Provide excellent customer service, including product details and recommendations.-Complete projects for product displays and store operations.-Direct co-wokers to tasks in the absence of managers.-Administer grant and clothing donation program.-Plan environmental activities.
