- Interpreting for Spanish speakers in NHS hospitals covering a broad range of departments such as MRI, haematology, oncology and diabetes as well as GP appointments, physiotherapy sessions and mental health meetings.- Interpreting for Spanish speakers in social care, employment and asylum meetings. - Facilitating communication between Spanish and English speakers both face-to-face and OPI/VRI.- Translating Spanish to English documents of a medical nature such as doctor reports, surgical procedures, pharmaceutical documents, chemotherapy treatments for patients with metastatic colorectal cancer, medication used to treat diabetes, and cloud computing used in healthcare.

Tutoring English and Maths to primary school children and helping them prepare for their Sats examinations.

During my time at Clinter Traducciones e Interpetaciones, I translated a variety of sworn Spanish, Italian and Portuguese documents. Examples of some of the documents I translated included contracts, notarial deeds, financial texts, birth, marriage and divorce certificates, university transcripts, medical reports and pharmaceutical documents. I gained experience in MTPE as well as CAT tools such as SDL Trados in order to translate documents and for terminology management. I also learnt how to use ABBY Finereader in order to convert PDFs into editable documents.

My role involved preparing and leading English classes as well as organising English speaking activities for Spanish secondary school students aged 12-18 in addition to preparing the students for English speaking examinations.
