I am a San Francisco based designer with a BFA in Art and Design from the University of Michigan. I am currently working on the marketing team at the Mental Health Association of San Francisco as their graphics and content creator. I treasure my role in fostering human connections and strive to find inspiring ways to deepen bonds. I grew up with three brothers and one bathroom, so I have always had to find creative ways to solve problems!  I like to expect the unexpected, am deeply intuitive, and find that my enthusiasm for presenting ideas is contagious. Belonging to something beautiful, surrounded by others who are seeking connection in an unpredictable world, is important to me.  I grew up with a grandfather who taught science fiction and fantasy, so appreciating telling and listening to a good story is core to my identity. Translating those stories visually is something I am passionate about. For me, the most vital aspect of being an artist, is to bring hope, to unite, to foster connection. I believe that the best designers are fine artists at heart. I am interested in losing myself in my work, losing track of time, making a mess, with the hopes that when I come out of that meditation of making, I will connect with another dreamer, or change the mind of someone who is more pragmatic than I am. I make work inspired by nostalgic memories. In the recalling of these images I am claiming them as part of my identity.
