• Responsible for all financial aspects of $1.4 million nonprofit organization to ensure overall health and long term sustainability. • Ensure financial stability by securing government and foundation funding, including $750k in unbudgeted revenue during the pandemic crisis. • Manage diverse revenue streams including earned income, individual contributions, foundation and government grants, and special events.• Support Board and Finance Committee oversight by providing financial analysis and presenting financial and audit reports.• Assist leadership in the annual budgeting process; creation of annual budget; administer and review all financial plans, and conduct analysis. • Guide the management of all Human Resources operations and implementation of employment policies including compensation and benefits, employment law, work comp, and 401k and insurance plans. • Provide leadership by strengthening communications throughout organization to promote a positive work environment. • Supervise and manage 10 full and part-time staff members for the Blues Hall of Fame.• Management of museum gift shop including staffing, inventory management, consignment agreements, and merchandising. • Responsible for all front of house duties for large scale, multi day productions with combined attendance of more than 20k fans including ticket sales, will call, merch sales, auction, exhibit openings, receptions, and panels. • Engage 50+ volunteers annually for events from orientation and scheduling to performance evaluation.• Collaborate to optimize Membership revenue by supporting engagement and retention strategies, and utilizing CRM software.• Responsible for administration of three donor restricted programs.• Oversee investment assets for performance optimization within investment policies. • Curation and design of both permanent and rotating exhibits in Blues Hall of Fame. • Management of all loan and gift documents for collection of 750+ objects.
