I am a partner in the Employment Law & Benefits Department of Mason Hayes & Curran Solicitors. I act for clients in contentious employment disputes before third parties such as the Rights Commissioner, Employment Appeals Tribunal, Equality Tribunal, the Labour Relations Commission and the Civil Courts. I also advise on Industrial Relations and Health & Safety Law. I provide non-contentious advice to clients on all aspects of employment law to include drafting of contracts and policies (such as those on discipline, grievance, bullying and harassment, social media and whistleblowing). I have advised on internal reorganisation, and redundancy programmes. I have extensive experience in advising clients on the practical application of employment law in the workplace. I am also experienced in injunctive proceedings to include those taken to enforce restrictive covenants. I have extensive experience in the provision of employment law training courses for clients. I have designed and delivered training courses for a number of client organisations and In-House Counsel. I am a lecturer and tutor for the Law Society of Ireland and I am regularly asked to speak at conferences on the subject of employment law and related topics.
