After 15 successful years in advertising, both agency side and in media sales, I am pursuing a degree in Nutrition & Foods with the goal of becoming a Registered Dietitian.

Assisted with implementation of the Middle Mile Food Rescue pilot program which utilizes the MealConnect application to connect food businesses with charitable and non-profit agencies facilitating the donation of unsold/unused food to organizations that can share it with the people who need it most. Researched and identified food businesses as potential food donors.Created and managed a database of 1000+ food businesses including restaurants, convenience stores, coffee shops, and commercial kitchens.Cold called potential food donor businesses, educated them on Austin’s Universal Recycling Ordinance which prohibits food from ending up in landfills, offered the Middle Mile Food Rescue Program as a solution to maintain compliance while providing food to neighbors in need.

Conduct outside consultative B2B sales of print, online, mobile (banner) advertisements, and sponsorships. Assist clients in development of marketing and promotional plans and budgets. Collaborate with web developers for online ads and give direction to designers based on clients’ requirements and needs. Service existing accounts while maintaining focus on prospecting and new business development opportunities.-Recognized for highest new business sales (print and digital) and highest digital sales for Q1 2013 (outperforming 12 candidate Account Executives).-Recaptured key account and gained new annual contract by conceptualizing and championing creative advertising option which guaranteed high visibility for client. -Built new territory from the ground up; generating $260K+ within first year.-Tripled billing in second year of establishing new territory and drove 17% revenue increase in third year.-Selected among colleagues to attend national “News Weekly” conferences for two consecutive years.
