I also managed 4 Collect Bargaining Agreements (CBAs) across 10 locations (US and Canada) and led HR projects across North America. Transitioning from a single to multi-business approach for commercial and business development, I assisted in the design of a North America Business Development organization. We revised manufacturing incentive plans for 4 non-union sites and designed commission-based incentive plans for our sales teams. In support of global diversity, I launched Cultural Awareness and Diversity training for all managers and partnered with general managers to expand roles of key positions. Executing a structured, centralized recruitment strategy, I reduced time-to-fill and cost-per-hire, filling 13 key positions within 10 months. My team and I also created the first formalized annual organization review and succession planning process, which revealed organizational and structural gaps and prompted identification of internal talent for future advancement.Actively participating in global teams including the Imerys Editorial Board and the Performance and Filtration Minerals Internal Mobility team, gave me the opportunity to share the perspective and actions of the North America Region and have a better understanding of the same in regions around the world. Recruiting and training my own HR team, I developed and executed strategies in change management and organizational, talent, and labor relations to accomplish corporate objectives. We developed and executed talent acquisition strategies, drastically reducing 3rd-party recruiting expenses, and launched internship programs to reinforce key functions (engineering, mining and geology, and marketing).
