Helped develop high-end tea retailer from the ground up, created business plan and worked with website design administrator to create online store. Designed and implemented employee benefits program. Oversaw administration of over a dozen health care, life, accident, disability, relocation, voluntary, 401(k) and executive plan benefits for 3,800-4,200 employee lives. Lead validation and re-design of existing plans, developed new plans and RFP initiatives. Facilitated 401(k) and Welfare Committee meetings, ultimately accountable to Cricket’s CEO. Partnered with broker to review external marketplace and identify trends in benefits design/delivery. Partnered with Cricket’s procurement team to complete relocation, fitness and service award RFPs. Implemented wellness program, new carriers and medical and prescription management programs saving Cricket over $2M annually. Worked closely with HRIS team to migrate employees from prior HRIS System to Oracle. Maintained awareness of changes in regulatory and/or legislative environments to ensure all benefit programs were continuously compliant. Ensured timely completion of government, corporate and tax filings.

Partnered with plan vendors, plan administrator, Payroll, HRIS, Compliance and internal Mercer consultants to ensure programs operate in a manner consistent with plan terms for over 24,000 active lives and over 40 programs. Lead/subject matter expert for projects such as voluntary plan redesign and program improvements, business process documentation, due diligence for corporate acquisitions and divestitures, end-to-end Summary Plan Description (SPD) review and new program implementation. Organized benefits eligibility and enrollment for all benefit plans by partnering with MMC subsidiary companies, HRIS and Payroll. Developed Sarbanes-Oxley process documentation related to all areas of employee stock purchase and employee stock ownership (401(k)) plan administration. Liaised with third party vendors such as Cigna, Aetna, BCBS, Smith Barney, ADP and WageWorks to ensure integrity of payroll and eligibility feeds, and to ensure compliance with state and federal law and plan rules.
