• Assistant editor and staff writer for Newsline, the Lab’s weekly employee newspaper, and NewsOnLine, a twice-weekly electronic newsletter. Responsibilities included:
• Reporting on LLNL programs, projects and HR policies, as well as drafting communication from the Laboratory’s director and other senior managers
• Managing production of weekly eight-page newspaper on deadline, including editing, proofreading and overseeing graphic design
• Coordinated special publications on such issues as workforce reduction, management changes and HR programs. Worked closely with senior managers to ensure final publications were interesting to employees as well as best.
