Elizabeth (Liz) Rietz is the CEO and co-founder of Bleuet, creator of apparel designed to give girls’ the freedom and confidence to do what they love. Rietz founded Bleuet along with her husband, Bill, after a fruitless search for comfortable camisoles and bras for their tween daughters, one of which is sensory sensitive. Liz believes girls deserve better age-appropriate options when it comes to undergarments for their growing bodies. Liz has over 20 years of experience in helping companies with their public relations and marketing programs from technology startups to consumer products. Prior to founding Bleuet, Liz launched her marketing consulting business, R2 Communications, in 2008. As a writer, she kept an active food blog for families called “Whining and Dining” from 2006 – 2010.Liz received a B.A. in Communications from Southern Methodist University in 1998. She currently sits on the board of Ralston Outdoor Advertising in Dallas, TX and has held past board positions at her daughters’ schools, Ivanhoe Elementary and Westridge School for Girls in Los Angeles, CA. In her spare time, she loves to cook, bake, run with her Labradoodle named Albie, play tennis with friends, and travel.
