UXC conducts consulting work with commercial clients. My work focused on user experience strategy, design and innovation and product testing. Created project plans, all project deliverables, supervised design research associates on UX projects, business development, and ran periodic educational seminars. Voting Technology project - Innovation for new voting technology, Responsible for running voting technology experiments and evaluating voting technologies.

• 2002-2005 Principal Research Scientist, Kodak Research . Oversaw collaborative human centered design projects in photography and desktop publishing in conjunction with MIT Media Lab. Responsible for system architecture, intelligent graphical user interface that include design of software intelligent agent system for digital photography and intelligent surveillance system for security systems. Performed Ethnographic studies, user site visits and context studies. Several patent applications resulted from this work.• 2000 - 2002 Usability Manager, collaborated with development teams on User Centered design projects, deliverables include software prototypes, technology benchmarking, university liaison reports and preliminary architecture and Requirements. Responsible for managing R/D projects for OEM products in photography, pre-press and desktop publishing. Work included specifying product and organizing, scheduling, coordinating, and interacting with research engineers, manufacturing engineers and marketing and marketing managers. System architecture and programming in C++ for desktop publishing. Acted as a liaison between R/D and marketing, as well as international customers for OEM technical matters including desktop printing remotely, specifically for government projects including remote printing for the Gulf War. Supported OEM customers by working with their engineering team to help the customer develop new products for Dupont OEM products. This support included international trade show coordinating, customer visits and demonstrations.
