Profile bio

About Elizabeth (Liz) Sanchez Jackson

Over the past 20 years, I have worked with nonprofit organizations to help them raise money, build out their donor and volunteer base, and increase awareness of their cause among the greater community. I am a bridge-building fundraiser and goal crusher. Born the eldest of 5 girls to immigrant parents, I am a first-generation college graduate whose first job was selling women's clothing at the age of 11. I am a fighter, a scrapper, and a fierce advocate for racial and social justice, girl power, food insecurity, mental health, education, and immigration issues. I love rooting and working for the underdog because I always have been one.Ultimately, I find my ability to problem-solve and build relationships is rooted in empathy, compassion and strong emotional intelligence - three of my greatest assets.

Listed skills include Fundraising, Nonprofits, Marketing, Public Relations, and 20 others.

These extraordinary times we are living in require a quick adaptability, a compassionate heart and laser focus on how we communicate with current and future donors. I truly believe that if you put in the hard work, fundraising success can still be found- even during these trying times. The question is- how much are you willing to adapt and learn new ways of raising money and communicating with donors?Ways that I could work with you, your fundraising staff and/or volunteer board members:• Donor Segmentation/Engagement and Recognition Strategies• Review of current development plan and provide recommendation• Social media management- calendars, content & engagement• Copywriting/Blogging• Online/End of Year Campaigns• Giving Tuesday CampaignsSome of the ways I have worked with other organizations:• Created a development plan and fundraising base for a new nonprofit educational organization that brought together a community and gave a voice to underrepresented groups within a school district.• Evaluated current fundraising strategies in place and developed strategies to increase revenue.• Partnered with board members to execute a first-time wine tasting fundraiser that raised awareness of the organization and cultivated new major donor prospects.• Executed high-quality fundraising events at the J.W.
