Responsible for recruiting, training and managing fundraising staff. Partnered with volunteers and managed communications, corporate sponsorship, walk and major gifts committees. During 5 year tenure, chapter revenue increased by 237% from $1.3 to $4.3 million. As the Special Events Director/Manager from 2003-2005- managed all logistics and execution of all special events- Research Updates, Annual Meetings, Golf Tournaments, Galas, Walks and the Santa Monica Pier Party. Built out volunteer committees and leveraged resources that resulted in exceeding projected event revenue goals and staying under budget.Highlighted Accomplishments:* Raised $2.3 million annually through management of the Walk to Cure Diabetes program. San Francisco Bay Area

Developed fundraising events and partnered with volunteers to generate revenue throughout the Sacramento and San Francisco area. Raised awareness and educated the general population about liver diseases.Highlighted Accomplishments:* Raised $100,000 and developed the first California LiverWalk in Sacramento.* Built out walk committees, teams and recruited walkers, solicited corporate sponsors and secured in-kind vendors.* Launched and presented Hep 101- an educational liver disease program throughout the San Francisco community. Created marketing materials and interactive educational presentation on a limited budget.
