Oversee the strategy for CIV:LAB's philanthropic climate fund backed by large corporate sponsors. Developing a new and participatory grant-making model to support workforce development, technology, and education solutions in the climate space. Currently focusing on New York, California, and Michigan communities.

Oversaw the emerging fund manager program at Purpose. Purpose helps community based organizations build equitable ownership, governance, and financing models in the solidarity economy. We partnered with managers who are bridging the racial wealth gap, preventing displacement, creating quality jobs and economic security, and supporting hyper-local economies across the US.

Operations and platform at Third Sphere, an early stage impact investment fund. Focused on due diligence, deal flow, deal negotiations, fundraising, and founder support.In addition to fund operations, I managed the day to day at the URBAN-X accelerator for startups and organizations reimagining city life and climate change, run in partnership with BMW/MINI. Investment themes focused on food, water, waste, energy, transportation, govtech, built environment and infrastructure innovation.

Research and outputs focused on investors & public purpose, specifically examining the (potential) negative consequences investing can have on the most vulnerable communities. We examined how technology, innovation, and early stage investing intersect with the environment, labor, economic inequality, human rights, democracy, privacy, security, diversity, anti-corruption, and the responsibility investors and philanthropists should bear when it comes to reducing societal and business risks.My team and I developed a due diligence platform using social science research. Program advised by the late Secretary Ash Carter.

The Roosevelt Network trains, develops, and supports emerging progressive policymakers, researchers, and advocates across the US, focusing on communities historically denied political power. I oversaw trainings, programs, and research in a variety of policy topics related to financialization, economic development, housing, transportation, human rights, and climate change.

Part of the consulting team for the New York State Department of Transportation’s (NYSDOT) alternative transportation programs, Clean Air NY & 511NY. Collaborated with outreach staff, community partners, and private / public organizations to promote the agency’s mission of reducing single occupancy vehicles and greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) in New York State along with helping employers reduce employee turnover. Also helped implement emergency preparedness transportation plans, supplying downstate New York commuters options during weather emergencies, HOV restrictions, gas shortages, days of poor air quality, and transportation/union strikes.
