This has had a direct, positive effect on my professional life. In a very self-guided role, I made sure to stay up-to-date on local/national building codes and manufacturer installation documentation (exciting, right?) which allowed me to bring in over $600,000 for the company in one year through technical negotiation with insurance adjusters. This accounted for nearly 8% of the company's gross revenue for that year, coming from someone who wasn't even in the sales division. I am excited to continue applying this natural curiosity in many areas of my life, and I look forward to where it will take me.
