I studied Math and Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon, and I currently work at Freddie Mac. I have substantial experience in both finance and technology. At Carnegie Mellon, I did a Natural Language Processing project with a team where we wrote a question generation and a question answering system, and I conducted finance research with a team on utility indifference pricing. I was also a Teaching Assistant for Principles of Imperative Computation (15-122) where I taught data structures and algorithms, complexity analysis, and the basics of C. I currently work on the Risk Distribution team at Freddie Mac. As part of my job, I speak to Freddie’s underwriting decisions on Rating Agency calls, and I work with the Capital Markets, Underwriting, and Asset Management teams to securitize pools and transfer the credit risk from Freddie Mac to B-piece investors. This has allowed me to hone both my collaboration and communication skills. Outside of my career, I row on a crew team and I play the clarinet.
