My career was born of a series of twists and turns that resulted in a very broad range of experiences. Before law school, I was an Art Conservator and restored beautiful works of art to their former glory. As with each legal case, every work of art required a custom approach with artful handling.I live each day with the belief that practice and attention to detail leads to mastery. Mozart said, “It is a mistake to think that the practice of my art has become easy to me. I assure you, no one has given so much care to the study of composition as I. There is scarcely a famous master in music whose works I have not frequently and diligently studied.” While I would never even begin to compare myself to Mozart, I can certainly say that I strive to attain mastery of my craft.My love of art and the sciences led me to pursue a degree combining art and chemistry into Art Conservation. After practicing for a couple of years, I decided to go back to law school and actually loved it. After law school, I started my career in New York and was immediately thrust into a large pharmaceutical marketing investigation with immense volumes of data for review.After managing a global FCPA investigation and being more involved in the left hand side of the EDRM, I took several computer science courses that have been invaluable in understanding client IT infrastructure as well as assisting in hosted platform design.My professional journey in eDiscovery has been punctuated by complicated matters, large and small. From meager beginnings, combing through documents, performing collections, mapping client IT infrastructure, consulting with legal teams negotiating discovery requests; I have been involved in nearly all aspects of the EDRM lifecycle.While no two cases are exactly the same, many of the principles involved translate across all matters. I strive to extract principles from every experience to make the next discovery matter a better experience for all those involved.
