For 20+ years in the UK, I trained professionals in industries spanning personal finance and banking, insurance, law, private, public and not-for-profit sectors. In 2012 I moved into higher education as a university lecturer, career coach and employability specialist for undergraduate, postgraduate and executive students across 3 different universities. Believing it's important to keep learning and testing yourself or you go backwards, I relocated to Canberra, Australia in July 2022 to apply my skills in a new geography. Now leading a team of professionals helping students at the Australian National University to develop the skills they need to successfully transition from full time education into employment.Ongoing interest in diversity and inclusion and career progression of under-represented people, since my Masters degree in Diversity Management in 2008 and since working with students lacking the self-belief and networks to translate their personal value into confident behaviours.
