About Elizabeth Weiser

I am a rhetorician with specialties in museology, historiography, and rhetorical theory. My latest book, Museum Rhetoric, explores how to build a better form of nationalism in the world’s cultural spaces, but my love of delving into research competes with my joy at seeing my students succeed. With this combination, I'm happy to work at Ohio State, a place that values both research and teaching. It makes for a crazy balance, but a happy one.My talents lie in envisioning new ideas, focused research, communicating through persuasive documents, and helping others express their ideas clearly and gracefully.I've lived in and traveled around the world several times over, and I revel in diversity. I'm always happiest learning new things and engaging with people in new situations.
