Focused internally and externally with global investment banks, development finance institutions, and think tanks on environmental sustainability and impact,. Key Accomplishments include:• Co-led the design and launch of a globally recognized, best-in-class impact investing approach. This approach, along with the Operating Principles for Impact Investing elements, was designed with a focus on climate, ESG, and social sustainability features. Innovations responded to evolving sustainable finance trends.• Responsible for delivering rigorous impact scores on climate, environmental, and social sustainability and reporting to the WBG Board.• Spearheaded global innovations in value chain estimation tools, including natural capital valuation in Plastics, Agriculture, E-mobility, market diagnostics, and digital connectivity. These tools enable more informed investment decisions and impact on the ground.• Corporate representative on global initiatives, natural capital, impact investing for sustainability, and sustainability reporting.• IFC was the Recipient of the 2023 Sustainable Finance Award for Outstanding Leadership in Sustainable Finance by Global Finance Magazine • Led technical impact team on climate mitigation, adaptation, finance, environment, and societal impact investing across manufacturing, services, agriculture, infrastructure financial institutions, and venture capital/funds. Worked with GHG accounting and climate adaptation finance accounting professionals. Successfully collaborated across organizational boundaries and with external organizations. Directed global innovations in environmental valuation for the private sector. Brought in to redesign and accelerate the implementation of a fledgling program, ensuring the program delivered on its objectives. This Global program supports improved private sector management, reporting, and valuation of natural capital. The program sought to promote environmentally sustainable investment and growth through a better understanding of the role of natural capital in economies at the sectoral and macro levels and at the corporate and micro levels. Delivered the Natural Capital Protocol, industry-specific guidelines, and corporate pilots of the Protocol. Ensured collaboration with the Natural Capital Finance Alliance, national strategies, and global initiatives.

Provided best practice ESG support to IFC’s investments in all regions and industries including infrastructure, renewable energy, financial markets, agri-business, and manufacturing sectors.Key accomplishments include:• Led Global Strategy and Operational Support for ESG risk management and successful launch of strategic initiatives focused on supporting firms in strengthening their environmental and social risk management and corporate governance, while ensuring compliance with IFC’s Performance Standards across a $20 billion portfolio.• Provided strategic direction, conceptual and operational frameworks and recommendations to unlock private sector investments given complex ES challenges and in areas of cumulative impacts (e.g. Cocoa-West Africa; Hydro-Pakistan; Water-agriculture-Asia, Africa; Gabon Palm Oil).• Launched, oversaw, and managed innovative programs at the cutting edge of private investments in difficult markets ; managed emerging thought leadership in ES and authored thought pieces.• Founded and convened IFC External Expert Advisory Panel on Sustainability to bring outside thinking and partnerships into IFC. (2006-2007)• Developing Country National Strategies: Advised the highest levels of Government and technical staff on the allocation of billions of dollars of public resources and private partnerships to achieve economic growth and social objectives. • International Development Industry: Part of the team that founded the International Joint Venture of Managing for Results in the Organization of Economic and Country Development Working Party. The work focused on changing the development industry to better manage resources to achieve results and to improve the measurement of results. (2002-2005)Led technical team on results based management, monitoring and evaluation. Introduced new WB policy on results based management, results based country strategies, and harmonization of results reporting. Led central technical support on project design, M&E, and implementation across all sectors and countries. Led incorporation of RBM in public expenditure management.

New venture start up• Successfully established three private sector ventures. One was sold for profit, one was rolled into separate business ventures, and the other is still on-going. Industries included consumer products, software and international mail order.• Advised small businesses on various aspects of operations. Industries included animation services and advertising, specialty products, consumer products, manufacturing and consulting services.• Examined $14billion+ portfolio for the quality of the portfolio and made recommendations on changes to operational policies and procedures.
