I was required on a daily basis to demonstrate excellent communication and people management skills and to adapt to the new challenging situations.I managed a team of 15 staff members and I was responsible for their recruitment, training and development, rota planning, performance management, disciplinary procedures, and ensuring quality of service and standards were maintained. My responsibilities included stock ordering, cellar management, cash handling (bank deposits, obtaining floats, cashing up tills), key holder, hygiene, health and safety systems, alongside liaising with suppliers and accountants.
