Stop Smoking Liaison Officer
CurrentKey responsibilities• Pro-actively establishing and supporting robust working relationships with key partner agencies and the community to create awareness and uptake of the service. • Facilitation of training to professionals within primary care who have regular contact with our target audience. • Co-ordinate an effective company presence at public events to ensure maximum footfall and referrals into the wellbeing service. • Evaluation of training and event delivery to accurately capture data and identify potential key areas of improvement. • Mentoring clients to quit smoking which includes 12 weeks of tailored behavioural support with medication and coaching skills. • Set up quarterly performance reviews with pharmacies and GPs to provide feedback on collated data to motivate external partners leading to an overall improvement in primary care KPIs.Key achievement• Responsible for increasing productivity within primary care by 15% over a one-year period resulting in a 21.5% decrease in cost per quit expenditure for OneLife Suffolk. • Provided evidence-based behavioural support to 3213 clients over a one-year period, with 61% (1987) successfully achieving a long-term lifestyle change of quitting smoking.
