I am the Director of State Engagement at the National Recovery Friendly Workplace Institute (the Institute), where my organization's goal is to help employers create and sustain recovery-friendly work environments that support employees and their loved ones affected by Substance Use Disorder. I also collaborate with state and national partners to promote and expand the RFW model across the country. I bring expertise to this newly formed organization from my previous role as the Addiction & Behavioral Health Coordinator at the Office of Governor Christopher T. Sununu, where the Recovery Friendly movement began! I worked on issues related to Substance Use Disorder from across the continuum (prevention, harm reduction, treatment, recovery, intersection of mental health, etc).I earned my BA from UConn where I double-majored in Human Rights & Communication, and minored in Sociology.
