About Elizabeth Doty

Elizabeth Doty is the Director of the Corporate Political Responsibility Taskforce at The Erb Institute, which provides forums, foresight and frameworks to help companies better align their political influences with their commitments to purpose, values, stakeholders and sustainability. As a former Lab Fellow at the Edmond J. Safra Center for Ethics at Harvard, Elizabeth's research focused on seven challenges that undermine companies' ability to deliver on their commitments to employees, customers, shareholders and stakeholders. For 27 years, her company, Leadership Momentum, helps companies clarify and deliver on their most important commitments to customers, employees, shareholders & the world by creating cultures of commitment, collaboration and action. She also writes for strategy + business magazine on leadership, trust and strategy execution. Her book, The Compromise Trap, was published by Berrett-Koehler in 2009. Elizabeth earned her MBA from Harvard Business School in 1991 and her Bachelors in Economics from University of California at Berkeley in 1985.
