Pharmacy Cashier
CurrentAt the start of employment, training was provided in cashier-related duties, pre-packed medication combinations (packed on-site), as well as over-the-counter medication (with reference to the most important indications, precautions and medication combinations that can be provided to clients).Cashier-specific duties include managing over-the-counter purchases, levy payments, cash-on-delivery transactions, and client account payments, as well as performing the cash-up at the end of shifts.Additional tasks performed include: - keeping pre-packed medication combinations stocked up,- taking client phone calls (including delivery requests, general enquiries, messages for the pharmacists, etc.),- packing stock & ordering shelves,- booking stock out for the other branch, - advising clients regarding over-the-counter medications for basic ailments, and- assisting with the induction of new part-time employees (training them to do cash-ups, etc. as well as being on stand-by & supervising during the last phase of their induction, i.e., when they start working shifts alone).
