The one-month Quality Assurance Bootcamp at SysMap Solutions focuses on fundamental topics such as Data Engineering, Software Testing, Test Structuring, Testing Techniques, and Agile Software Development, among other related areas. During this intensive period, I developed essential skills in test planning and execution, covering everything from the creation of plans and schedules to strategies and risk analysis. The use of tools like Excel, Qase.io, Testmo, Test Rail, and Trello was crucial for efficiently documenting and managing tests.I participated in creating coverage matrices to ensure the traceability and quality of test scenarios. In test modeling, I created cases using the Step by Step pattern and Gherkin syntax, applying them both in spreadsheets and specialized tools. During implementation, I developed test data and configured environments, while in execution, I conducted tests, reported incidents, and used Burndown and BurnUp charts to monitor progress.The test cycle was completed with the production of reports highlighting critical metrics and indicators, providing valuable insights into the effectiveness and quality of the tests. The experience was enriched with the use of tools such as Postman and Miro, as well as applying testing techniques like Boundary Value Analysis. My knowledge in Scrum allowed me to actively participate in agile ceremonies, significantly contributing to continuous improvements in processes and delivery quality.
