Served as CWEE’s first ever Director of Culture and Talent; advised Executive Management on organizational needs related to culture and performance, provided coaching and support to staff at all levels and serve as first point of contact for all Human Resources needs. Created a new performance management system built on shared organizational competencies, values of learning and wellness, ongoing feedback, and motivation-driven goal setting that results in individualized learning plans. Taught employment related classes biweekly to adult learners on topics such as resumes, cover letters, interviewing skills, and internet job searching. Coached adult learners as they identified both long and short term employment goals; discussed occupational qualifications and necessary next steps to map out career plans. Provided regular feedback on job search materials such as resumes, cover letters, and letters of explanation for those with criminal backgrounds. Assisted in identifying and managing career exploration opportunities such as job shadows and internships. Recruited, trained, and monitored a caseload of volunteers for biweekly mock interviews and monthly resume reviews and engaged regularly with employer partners to ensure relevant and timely employment practices were being implemented.

Advised student organization of 5 students in conceptualizing and implementing campus-wide program that promotes integration between domestic and international student populations. Developed programs to facilitate discussion on topics of diversity and internationalization and utilized online survey software to create program sign-up and evaluation surveys. Served as co-chair for DU’s annual “International Celebration Week;” involved in all phases of programming. Collaborated with DU administrators across 10 schools to promote and market ISSS student programming.

Served as liaison between TCHFH and homebuying families (approximately 50). Developed, scheduled, and oversaw staffing of all 11 homebuyer educational requirements for 3 cohorts annually. Scheduled homebuyers for various required meetings as well as 300+ hours of work on Habitat sites. Coordinated first-ever program allowing homebuyers to learn from the experiences of current Habitat homeowners, now offered three times annually.
