About Elke De Schepper
Since 2001 I'm working in the backoffice of a chemical company that not only makes polyurethane foam, but is also known for bedding and isolation.In the dpt where I work we make polyurethane foam in rolls. In 85 %, these rolls are used in automotive applications like headrests, (ventilated) seats, doorpanels.I started in 2001 as backoffice assistant and became coordinator in 2003 with a team of 5 people.We take care of the incoming order, untill shipment to the client.This includes order registration, transportation, planning, production, complaints. This involves a lot a contact with clients, but also with the production team etc... Speaking Dutch, French, German, Englisch and a little bit of Spanish is a big advantage. As coordinator I have my own client who I'm responsible for, but I also take care of the foamplanning every week, price calculation, new grades, , staffplanning. Making sure that everything runs smoothly and that everybody is happy.
