Elke Parker is the Team Lead for RoboFit Brisbane. She has extensive experience working with a variety of neuromuscular populations, conditions, and injuries. Her knowledge within the world of neuroscience has been developed over time from working with athlete’s, adolescents, and adults with disabilities, helping them achieve their performance goals while also assisting with their home life and independence. Elke also has a background in working with clients who struggle with mental ill health, behavioural disorders, and neurodevelopmental disorders. Elke’s approach to exercise prescription differs from conventional exercise physiology; her main focus is to build and strengthen small movements to assist clients in regaining larger ranges of motion and achieving greater body awareness. Her primary goal as a practitioner is to assist clients in gaining independence through exercise; helping with daily activities and strengthening areas of the body that general exercise programs may overlook. Elke is a firm believer in empowering her clients to take charge of their own health and movement through education and movement development.
