My team, consisting of myself and three Erasmus international students, was tasked with designing a startup focused on children's sunglasses. Our mission was to promote healthy eye protection habits for kids. To kick off our research phase, we attended the SILMO optical fair in Paris to assess the competition. Our standout feature—and also our biggest challenge—was creating a hinge-free frame made from flexible materials. After prototyping a variety of frames in different colors using TR-90 material, we presented our designs to the client, showcasing our innovative approach.
