The EYP is a non-partisan educational project whose aim is to promote European citizenship, cultural awareness and youth leadership skills. Today the EYP is one of the largest European platforms for political debate, intercultural encounters, political educational work and the exchange of ideas among young people in Europe. The EYP is a programme of the Schwarzkopf Foundation. In 2019 I was a Jury member for EYP Ireland's Regional Session held in Dublin and their National Session held in Galway. In this role, I was responsible for the selection process of future alumnus and the evaluation of the session's participants. I have participated as the Vice-President of two sessions at Regional and National level, in Norway and France in 2017, a role requiring the training, leadership, and mentorship of a team of chairpersons.I was selected to Chair committees at 3 EYP sessions in 2016, at a regional and national level in Switzerland and at a national level in Ireland. This required preparing, mentoring and chairing teams of up to 12 delegates through an EYP session lasting from 3 to 5 days. Also in 2016, I was selected as Vice-Editor for EYP Portugal's 34th National Session. This involved training and leading a tea of 8 journalists whilst creating and editing the session's output. In 2015 I was selected as a Journalist for France's International Academic Forum and Ireland's 18th National Session. This involved media training, article writing, photography, and graphic design.
