A 5-week placement working alongside a specialist psychiatric nurse at CAAAS (Cumbria Adult Autism Assessment Service). The role involved a variety of jobs; from creating alert cards, posters and resources for patients; to creating resources for staff use; to helping write up patient MDT summaries and diagnostic reports, scoring patient tests (such as the AQ60), and writing up a patient chronology; to attending MDT meetings/case discussions and writing up the minutes.
