I was part of the Predictive Brain group of Prof. dr. Floris de Lange, with a specific focus on temporal dependence in visual perception in autism. In January 2023, I submitted my dissertation titled "The influence of the past in visual perception in autism".Research: I have conducted three experiments in students as well as in autistic and non-autistic adolescents and worked with behavioral and MEG data using primarily MATLAB and SPSS. I have two open access publications as well as one publication in preparation.Supervision: I trained and supervised a research assistant who aided in data collection on the clinical project. Teaching and coordination: During my time at the Donders Institute, I taught workgroups for the BA1 course " Brain & Cognition 1" from 2016 to 2020 and coordinated a team of over 10 workgroup teachers in 2019-2020. For this course, I prepared and taught modules on fundamental neuroscience topics, administered and graded tests, including online proctoring, and created, reviewed, and improved workgroup assignments and test questions. Finally, I was a guest lecturer for the masters course "Communication in Cognitive Neuroscience" in 2020, teaching on the topic of social media communication.

As part of the Donders Institute news team, I contributed to the management of the social media: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn. For this, I created and shared text and visual materials to spread news on Donders research, events, job openings, received grants and awards, and more. Additionally, as a public outreach assistant, I gave presentations for visitors of the Donders Institute, ranging from high school and university students to insurance company representatives. Finally, I was responsible for the coordination of Brain Awareness Week (2018 and 2019), where researchers visited high schools in the area to talk about their research and neuroscience as a whole. For this, I coordinated between researchers and high schools, planned visits, created presentation templates, and instructed and supported researchers. I also participated myself.

I was involved as a developer and coach for Radboud-wide PhD support sessions. Together with a team of two other coaches, I designed sessions on topics such a motivation & productivity, communication with your supervisor, and dealing with stress. For these sessions, I created supporting materials, including scripts and overviews of resources. I also led 10 sessions, during which I harboured a safe environment, guided group discussions, and helped PhD candidates find solutions to problems.

As an RA, I was responsible for data collection for several scientific experiments, including EEG, fEMG, and behavioral data. To this end, I scheduled participants and conducted the experiments independently. I also aided education at the Utrecht Institute of Linguistics OTS by grading exams..

Worked at the Utrecht Institute of Linguistics OTS on a project with EEG. The aim of the study was to look at the ERP response of people when they are being insulted, and whether they can use cognitive reappraisal to modulate this response.

Worked at the Department of Psychiatry assisting on a longitudinal project with fMRI. The study looked at the differences in development of functional connectivity in the brains of children with ASD, children with ADHD, and typically developing children.
