Buyer - Hosiery and Childrenswear

Assistant buyer/Hosiery buyer- Fashion accessories and FootwearHosiery buying duties- Attending seasonal buying appointment to create seasonal ranges.- Negotiate discounts with new and existing suppliers.- Merchandise core stock levels to ensure reordering system is running correctly.- Attend core range reviews to ensure that our ranges are in line with the market and customers needs.- Creating budgets for seasonal buy's.- Maintain good relationships with all suppliers.Buyers assistant duties- Assists buyer on buying appointments, helping her create ranges and make deaccessions based on key trends an budgets.- Quantifying orders and merchandising stock.- Maintain good relationships with shop floor staff. Keep them up to date with deliveries due in the business.- Creating and uploaded orders.- Manage stock coming in and out of the business.- Brands - Longchamp, Michael Kors, Kate Spade, Coach, Wolford, Falke

Buyer’s assistant - Womenswear (knits and jersey)- Creating and uploading orders to the system.- Updating and managing the critical path with dates and information about the season.- Creating and updating the range plan.- Communicating with suppliers on a day to day basis about the status of samples, swatches and delivery dates.- Constantly keeping an eye out for key trends by performing comp shops.

Production admin assistant- Setting up all product on the system netsuite.- Creating and sending out purchase orders for SMS styles, fabric and components to factories.- Handling and organising all samples (garments and fabric) that came into the business.- Liaising with factories and suppliers on a daily basis to make sure the production process was running to plan.- Working alongside the design development, marketing and merchandising departments.- Attending seasonal range reviews.
