Having my own Blog page (mcr_food_blog) allows me to create my own content. I take my own pictures, using the most up to date photography editing apps, as well as using apps to create my own logos and branding. I write all the content for my posts, and use hashtags and key words to increase reach and engagement. I also work with both local and national businesses, building relationships with them and helping to promote their products. My blog allows me to explore my passion for cooking and reviewing food, and also gives me critical experience using Instagram insights, growing a page, creating content and establishing relationships with businesses. Some of my work for my blog has also been published in local magazines such as Candid Orange Magazine.

In this role I manage the social accounts for Bawtry Paintball Fields, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube. I reply to enquiries and help to increase following and engagement on the social sites. I create original content by writing posts and taking my own photographs and videos for the social pages. I also help with data input and write original web copy for the website.

I have written a number of articles for a range of sections for the paper, including News, Music, Film and Theatre. I have interviewed major artists such as the Grammy Award Winning Artist 'Flume', and have been to live gigs such as ‘Miles Kane' and 'The Hunna' and live theatre performances to review them. I have also been to a BBC Premier event and interviewed famous actors, actressers and writers on the red carpet. Additionally, I have written opinion pieces. My articles have been published in print and online.

After being approached by Hollabox, I expanded my Instagram Blog page to also create digital content for the social media application Hollabox. I create my own original content, using video technology to create videos with my own captions to review local businesses in Manchester. By creating digital content I am helping to expand the application from London to Manchester, meanwhile promoting local businesses. This has given me experience in content creation, but also in publishing my content in a new mode of application. This has also helped me to expand my knowledge of social media insights, and using hashtags and key words to expand the reach and engagement of my posts.

In this role I help to create, organise and promote events, ensuring all events are inclusive and accessible to all society members. I also manage social media pages for the society including Instagram and Facebook, creating content and dealing with enquires. As a committee member I also help with general decisions about the running of the society.

In this role I work behind the till selling products, dealing with customer inquiries and organizing stock. This has helped me with the skills of organisation, customer service and money handling. I also help to manage the social media pages for the company, taking photographs to upload and creating content for the social media pages such as Facebook and Instagram.

In this role I managed the social media pages for the nightclub, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat. I created and uploaded content and managed messages and inquires. I also created events and promotions to encourage engagement and helped to promote the club by approaching various pages and websites. I also created a website for the company and took original photographs to upload both on the website and the social media pages.

As a Senior Office Assistant I organise and run groups, deal with complaints and problems, coordinate staff, serve customers, handle money and sell products. The role has given me experience in areas of customer service, sales and management. It has also helped me to develop the skills of organisation, leadership and problem solving. I also helped to manage the social media pages for the company, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Youtube.

In this role I was able to work in an office environment and speak to the Director of the company, who provided me with a background to the Marketing field. I also observed a business meeting between the Director and the Copywriter, which offered me insight into the inside workings of the business itself, and the actions taken to provide clients with media coverage in press release, online and on social media. It also increased my understanding of different audiences, such as consumers, businesses and professionals, and the different approaches to take when targeting these audiences. As well as writing a blog, I was also given a project working with a real client, creating web copy for the website and creating digital content. The aim was altering the client's brand and market strategy to approach a younger audience. I also created a social media calendar for the client, researching upcoming events and trends in order to create and schedule posts with maximum engagement.
