This Graduate Management Trainee opportunity allows me to spend two months in five sectors of the business which are people, sales, finance, marketing and customers.

For the past four years, during both Summer and Easter holidays I have worked as a group leader at pied piper which is a children's activity camp. As a group leader, you are in charge of a group of 16 children, ages ranging from 3-13. You are responsible for organizing all activities throughout the week, as well as ensuring all children are safe.

This role was administration based and involved calling Old Suttonians to initiate conversation and to find out about their careers and what they have been doing since they left the school. We updated their contact details and spoke to them about the upcoming school events in order for them to keep contact with the organisation. We used a new programme to formulate the details of each call and this experience magnified my communication abilities.

Part time work as a waitress for weddings and parties where you are responsible for making sure events run smoothly.

I worked as a Gap student during my year off where I was supporting teachers in all departments. This included assisting teachers in literacy, maths and science with children aged from 3-11. I also worked with the PE department, where I taught hockey, netball, football, cricket and swimming, and also umpired fixtures against other schools with children up to 13. During COVID-19 in the Spring Term of 2021, I was responsible for any key workers children in year 4, where I helped them with any online learning and provided various activities whilst the school was closed.

During the COVID-19 pandemic I worked in Winterwood fruit farm as a key worker. We had to work as a team over long hours in order to pick the fruit by the time the seasonwas over and the weather worsened.
