Hi! I’m Ella. I grew up in New Hampshire and I’m currently studying graphic design at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. My work involves design, painting, drawing, and sculpture, but I am always experimenting with new media. Design and painting go hand in hand for me as I explore and find intersections between the realms of art and design. My work is often illustrative and involves nature and shows the organic, natural shapes that make up our world. Representing the world full of color and energy through vibrancy and abstraction documents the moments both seen and unseen. Abstraction and vibrancy are elements I push in my design work to create a balance of hierarchy and harmony.
