As a barista working for this company I am very comfortable working in high stress environments. Time management skills and problem solving are very important. As the busiest London store in the company I can confidently say I am able to work effectively under stress. Punctuality is also something I take in pride while working here.

London Richmond

During my time in this company I had a range of roles including main barista, front house, grill chef and salad chef. Working as the grill chef perfected my time management skills. In order to do the job correctly my organisation skills had to be perfect. While working here I was able to develop skills as a barista, later helping me in future barista jobs.

This was an incredibly rewarding organisation to volunteer for. During my time here I worked with a team on several projects and campaigns. On a semi-weekly basis (over the course of the year as regularly as I could). I worked along side the team to brainstorm and carry out different environmental campaigns.

Canada

I worked on an independent farm in Canada. My roles included farm maintenance, such as DIY, painting and tractor driving. Gardening and preparing for the next harvest. As well as animal care, as the farm housed various farm animals. I worked independently for the majority of this placement. Carrying out tasks set to me in the most efficient way I could.

Panama

Working with a small team to manage and maintain a small surfing hostel in panama. My roles included hosting guests, room maintenance, bar management and maintenance/ management of the common areas. Along side these rolls I was also involved in a turtle protection project as well as a beach pollution clean up project.

Brighton, England, United Kingdom

My job at embassy was to take care of large groups of international students aged 8-18. Running them through activities and day trips. Needing to be confident enough to safely transport large groups of children through various activities and on multiple trips around the country. This job was very independent at times. Working on your own rota, with your own group of children sometimes in groups as large as 60. Meaning organisation and time management was key.

Tuscany, Italy

I worked on a small Italian farm for a short time. During which I prepared hosting cabins for their guests. Looked after the guests upon arrival. Took part in many small projects, such as over seeing a new outbuilding construction. As well as the meal preparation for the guests over the course of their stay. Another part of the job was helping maintain the lavender fields for harvest.

Working with a garden team for a short time. Teamwork and communication was very important during this placement. I was working in a small team of four including me. Carrying out gardening tasks as well as being involved in events. Therefore managing and organising events with the public.

Working as part of the farm volunteers. This included animal care and maintenance. Customer care, such as running actives for members of the public. Working with a fairly large team, therefore communication was key.
